Julie Sulzen is a professional artist whose work focuses primarily on the urban landscape. She is a native Chicagoan who examines the notions of “icon” as it defines her hometown. For over 20 years she has lived adjacent to Milwaukee Avenue and creates images of Chicago’s people, homes, neighborhoods, and its changing built environment.
